When I created Miss Perfect, I was thinking about how perfection can distort the very things we find beautiful. Even the loveliest things eventually fade, and perhaps perfection exists more comfortably in memory than in reality. I wonder whether Miss Perfect sees what we see—or whether, in her perfectly arranged world, everything is exactly as it should be.
